From the moment we arrived at Nisala Villas, we were greeted with exceptional service. The staff, especially Indika and Ashan, went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. They arranged airport transfers and even tuk tuk rides for us. The breakfast served in our villa was delicious and we couldn't finish it all! The option to have dinner at the villas was a great addition, with Indika cooking restaurant-quality meals. The staff also went above and beyond to fulfill our requests, such as going to town to get beer and wine for us. The highlight of our stay was the New Year's Eve beach celebration, complete with a bonfire and a delicious seafood dinner. The villas themselves were beautifully designed, and having our own private pool was a luxury we truly enjoyed. we can't recommend this hotel enough!
We can't recommend Nisala Villas highly enough.

The interiors at Nisala Villas were delightfully tasteful, much better than what the pictures showed. I was particularly fond of the beautiful decor and design of the villa. The general areas of the hotel were also well-maintained and accessible for senior people like me. The staff, or as I like to call them, the children working there, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to arrange transportation and activities for us, ensuring that everything was taken care of. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for a peaceful and private retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I even had the chance to spot some monkeys in the trees, which was a delightful surprise. All in all, my stay at Nisala Villas exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.
As a senior woman, there was only one thing I would have asked for to make my vacation even better - a greater variety of options for breakfast. While the food was tasty, a few more choices would have been appreciated.

Had a fantastic stay! The staff were amazing, taking care of everything we needed. The villa was lovely with a private pool and outdoor shower. We enjoyed the freedom and privacy to do what we liked. The location was convenient, with the beach just a short tuk-tuk ride away.
There were a few minor issues, like missing wardrobes and some bugs in the house. But overall, these didn't bother us too much and were manageable.

The villa had a lovely and elegant decor, creating a serene atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. The hotel's spacious and well-maintained areas were easily accessible for senior people like myself, providing a safe and comfortable environment. The children working there were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay.
I would have appreciated the availability of a mossie net and insect deterrents, as the surrounding jungle area led to some mosquito bites.

Honestly, we got so much bang for our buck at this place. The room was top-notch and having our own private pool was such a treat. Plus, the location was spot on - peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of town. The staff at Nisala Villas were absolute gems. They took care of our every need, from fetching us snacks and drinks to showing us the best local spots. Their hospitality was next level, and we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it even more.
The breakfast selection could have been a bit better. It was nutritious and tasty, but maybe a bit more variety would have made it even better.

The location of the hotel is perfect for nature lovers, with close proximity to both fields and jungle. Guests have the opportunity to see monkeys in the trees in the mornings and even encounter iguanas and peacocks around the property. the traditional yet modern villa offers a dreamy vision, with a private swimming pool just in front of the bedroom and lush palm trees creating a peaceful atmosphere.
The villas lack privacy as there are no curtains, potentially making guests feel exposed.
